"I’ve been using zyBooks for my class..."
I’ve been using zyBooks for my class and it’s been solid overall. I’m usually trying to get assignments done in a hurry, so I appreciate that the grading feels accurate and the feedback actually shows me what I messed up. It makes it easier to fix things quickly without wasting time guessing...

"At first, I thought the click-through examples were..."
At first, I thought the click-through examples were kind of helpful, and they did make some of the basics easier to understand. But after a while, a lot of it started to feel like busywork, which got frustrating. I did learn a few things, but the questions felt repetitive, and when I got something wrong, I really wished it explained why instead of just moving on.

"Decent overall, but not as smooth as other learning sites"
zyBooks works fine for the most part, and I’d say it’s easy to figure out compared to some class platforms I’ve used. The lessons usually load without any problem, but every so often the pages get slow or the interactive questions act weird. It’s not awful, and a lot of people in my class seem to get through it okay, but when you’re trying to finish homework quickly, those little glitches can get annoying.

"It’s decent for the price..."
It’s decent for the price. It’s cheap, easy to get to, and does the job well enough. Nothing fancy or amazing, but for what you pay, it’s fair.

"Made the class so much easier"
By the end of the class, I actually felt like I understood the material instead of just cramming it. zyBooks made everything way easier to follow, and I liked that the examples were simple without feeling too basic. When things got more complicated, it still explained them clearly enough to keep me from getting lost. Having the reading mixed in with practice questions helped a lot too, since I could check if I really got it as I went.

"zBooks is Trash"
Feedback on zyBooks for Organizational Behavior for Managers:
I find zyBooks to be ineffective for my learning needs, and here are the key reasons why:
Lack of Engagement: The interactive activities, quizzes, and animations fail to capture my attention or help me grasp complex concepts in organizational behavior effectively. I often feel disconnected from the material.
Content Format: The text-heavy content is difficult to follow, and I struggle to retain the information compared to more traditional textbooks or other learning materials that provide clearer explanations.
Too Structured: The rigid structure of zyBooks doesn’t allow for the flexibility I need. I prefer resources that offer more freedom in how I can explore and apply the concepts.
Technical Issues: I frequently encounter technical difficulties, such as slow loading times and glitches, which are frustrating and hinder my learning experience.
Limited Depth: The content often lacks the depth required to fully understand the theories and models that are central to Organizational Behavior, leaving me with an incomplete understanding of the subject matter.
Lack of Note-Taking Features: It would be helpful to have a feature that allows students to highlight key material and take notes directly within the platform. This would help reinforce learning and improve retention of important concepts.
For these reasons, I find it challenging to use zyBooks effectively in my studies. I would appreciate improvements in these areas to make the learning experience more valuable.
In the the camera man kept zooming in and out while the guy was talking which is a huge distraction. In the background in the video you can see cars driving back and forth and the camera keeos zooming in and out. I highly doubt that the positive reviews on zyBooks are real.
